Celebrating our first anniversary – a year of growth, resilience, and looking to the future

On 1st May, we proudly celebrate our first anniversary as a letting agency – a milestone that gives us the opportunity to reflect on an incredible year of growth, achievement, and learning.

When we launched just twelve months ago, our goal was simple: to create an agency that really focused on doing the business of lettings exceptionally well. Thanks to the trust placed in us, we’re delighted to share how far we’ve come.

The year in numbers

Over the past year, we’ve built a strong foundation and achieved some key milestones:

  • 94 properties under management by year end
  • 148 landlords served, each with unique needs and goals
  • 97% average rental value achieved on new lets
  • More than 1,060 rental payments processed, ensuring smooth and timely transactions
  • 242 deposits securely held, giving peace of mind to landlords and tenants
  • Over 75 boilers serviced, helping keep homes safe and compliant
  • Consistently rated in the Top Two lettings agents in our area on Rightmove
  • Voted Best Letting Agent in the Cotswolds 2025 in The Cotswolds Awards

These figures represent more than just numbers – they reflect the relationships we’ve built, the trust we’ve earned, and the systems we’ve developed to support a growing portfolio.

Navigating change: the Renters’ Rights Act

This year has also brought significant change to the rental landscape with the implementation of the Renters’ Rights Act on 1st May. We’ve worked proactively to ensure both our landlords and tenants are fully supported during this transition.

Over the last 12 months we estimate that we have completed more than 40 hours of training and webinars as a team. We’ve also invested in new software tools to further strengthen our processes to align with new compliance requirements. In the past two weeks alone, we have served over 220 tenants with the Renters’ Rights Act Information Sheet, ensuring our landlords are compliant with the new rules.

We understand that legislative change can feel complex, and we’ve made it our priority to stay ahead so that our landlord clients don’t have to navigate it alone.

Looking ahead to Year Two

As we move into our second year, we’re excited about what lies ahead. Our focus is on continued growth – working with more landlords, expanding our reach across the South Cotswolds, and enhancing our service offering.

We’re committed to developing new service propositions designed to give landlords the flexibility, support, and confidence they need in an evolving rental market. At the same time, we remain dedicated to delivering a positive, professional experience for tenants.
